 Founded in 1958, Jiangsu Electric Power Construction No.3 Engineering Company is a comprehensive construction company especially engaged in large-scale building and erection of thermal power plant, nuclear power plant, petrochemical and chemical industry works of large scale and medium scale. It has possessed qualifications of national class I construction, erection of 1000MWE civil pressure vessels, welding training and ISO9002 Quality Assurance System. Furthermore, the company has the certificate to deal with foreign trade.
The present staff of the company is totally 2787 persons, 563 persons of which are technical personnel of various specialties, among which 3 persons of senior engineers titled of professor, 14 persons of senior titles and 125 persons of middle titles. There are 9 operation departments (Office Management Depart., Project Management Depart., Quality Management Depart., Manpower Resource Depart., Marketing Depart., Safety Inspection Depart., Auditing Supervising Depart., Financial Depart., Depart. of Political Work), 4 specific construction companies (Boiler &Turbine, Electric, Building and Mechanization) and 4 other companies with assert relationship with the Company which are Zhenjiang Chinese Power Development Pte Ltd., Sino-American Joint Ventures- Zhenjiang Hua Rui Power Station Auxiliaries Company Ltd., Shanxi Su Yuan Economy and Technology Development Company and Jiangsu Chinese Power Electric Insulation Material Manufacturing.
The gross asset possessed by the company amounts to 490,000,000RMB, among which the fixed asset has achieved 110,000,000RMB by the end of 2000. It holds 1568pcs of construction machinery with total capacity of 16385KW, among which there are 7×50t crawler cranes and crawler cranes with various capacities of 150t, 200t, and 250t (two for each capacity); DBQ1000t.m and DBQ3000t.m tower cranes (one for each); a set of 4×200t hydraulic lifting device and 14pcs of gantry cranes with capacity over 30t. Furthermore, it holds 22pcs of lorries and self-dump trucks; 1×100t trailer, 3×40t trailers, 3×25t trailers; 9×6m3concrete trucks, 4pcs of 85m3/h concrete pumping trucks, 1pc of 90 m3/h concrete pumping truck, 3×50 m3/h concrete mixing buildings and other construction machinery. |
